The use of clickers in the lecture classroom has increased recent years. Clickers have been widely used to improve teaching effectiveness various settings. Most introductory biology courses are taught using direct instruction. One ways that students may be engaged classrooms is by a clicker. linked several positive outcomes for students. Although prior studies, few studies explicitly focused on BYOD (smartphones, tablets, laptops). This study examined influence gender students’ perceptions an course at Midwestern private college. findings suggest male more about than females lecture. clicker can foster active learning and experiences all other STEM courses.
